HOW IT ALL STARTED
2015
The Birth of The Hobby
Eric was a pizza delivery driver, buying and selling sports cards on the side in his free time.
2018
Exploring Options
While attending college in New Jersey and losing $40,000 on a failed e-commerce venture, Eric realized getting a degree so they could eventually work an unsatisfying 9-5 job the rest of his life did not sound like an attractive life plan.
2019
The Start of a Business
By the end of the semester, Eric was making enough money from sports cards to move out of his parents’ house, so he quit his job, dropped out of college, and booked a one-way ticket to Miami, FL. The biggest motivation for building a business online was so he could do what he loved, wherever he wanted, whenever he wanted.
2020
Sports Card Flywheel System
With a mission to help even more people achieve financial freedom with sports cards, The Sports Card Flywheel System is launched in March and 28 students join on the first day. Eric committed fully to perfecting the sports card coaching program.
2021
Flywheel System 2.0
Eric moved back up north to New York and the majority of the year is spent just filming content videos and creating Sports Card Flywheel System 2.0.
2022
Major League Profits
Major League Profits is born as the roommates hire their first 3 team members to help manage and coach their growing community of sports card flippers. At this point, the Sports Card Flywheel System has helped over 100 people nationwide to make a reliable side income buying and selling sports cards. Eric moves to Austin, TX to join a house of online business owners.
2023
Over 1,000 Students
Major League Profits takes off as over 1,000 new students join the program. By the end of the year, over 1,200 students are discovering the freedom of sports cards.
2024
Major League Profits 2.0
Followed by another year of explosive growth, this resulted in over 30 new hires positioning MLP as the leading education company in the sports card industry.
